I'm so grateful they were open during the California Fires. They were absolutely slammed but all of the workers were working so hard to get everything out and it was actually touching to see the care and hard work put into it on such a hard day for LA. I've loved their pizza for a long time but I'm a bigger fan after watching them hustle to keep everyone fed while so many other places were closed.
It was good. I like the ambiance in here. I remember I wanted this pizza that they weren't selling at the time, but my friend and I were still happy with what we got. Nice place, reminds me of the pizza place in Daria
One of the best pizza spots in LA! Every pizza on their menu has a unique touch. Although they're a bit pricey, the pizza is so tasty that you have to give this place a try! My family and I always order takeout from here, which is very convenient as you can order online and get a notification when it's ready (usually ready even before you get notified). The staff is always nice and friendly. Parking can be challenging if you come during peak dinner hours, but since I only get takeout, it's not really a problem for me. If you want to try a different but better version of Hawaiian pizza, get the "Lilo Unscripted", it's so good you won't stop at one slice, trust me. My go-to is the Garbage because of the mix of ingredients that all fit well together. Check out the menu, and I'm sure you'll find something you like. Their pizza is top tier!
Nice cozy pizza parlor. You can sit by the pizza counter and admire the staff tossing up the dough and making pizza to load the oven. Staff works quick and efficient to get out all orders. Their pizza sauce has a very robust flavor profile.
Went to Hail Mary Pizza for a Saturday date night, and even during the dinner rush, we managed to snag seats, which was a huge win! The vibe was lively but still relaxed enough for conversation. We shared one of their yummy pizzas--perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of chew on the crust. Bonus: they have $5 beers, which is a fantastic deal for a weekend night out! The only downside is that parking on the street can be a bit tricky, so give yourself some extra time to find a spot. Overall, a great place for a casual yet memorable night out. Highly recommend!
My new favorite pizza! I got it to go on DoorDash so I can't review the actual store/restaurant but this is my new favorite pizza! I can't believe I haven't ordered from here before. I got the Roni, side of ranch and pickled jalapeños and it was SO good. Quickly made with care and delivered by the door dash driver. I definitely sugguest!
Hands down the best zero flop perfect pizza I've ever had in my whole life! I used to hate pizza, until I discovered the beauty that is sourdough pizza at Hail Mary. I could easily eat a whole pie & feel light as a feather because of the high quality clean ingredients. This is the best pizza in LA, SoCal, anywhere you go. The owner, Jeff, is always there hands on making sure each pizza is dished out to perfection. And don't skip on the gourmet salads, wings. bites, & natural wines. Hail Mary is a tasty experience so I encourage to indulge! Current fave custom pizza: Red sauce, burrata, basil, Calabrian chilis, Jalapeños, & Pepperoni
Wow what a pizza haven especially for foodies who want to try different types of pizzas!!! We pulled up on Cinco de Mayo and got to try their exclusive Mole Pizza which was sooooo good!! Their Hail Mary Caesar was delicious. The sliced Parmesan and croutons were so flavorful. We also tried their essential - Pep Pep Pizza - a jalapeño pepperoni pizza with honey drizzled on top, as well as The Belly Goat which was refreshing with goat cheese and veggies. Service was so great and the food came out so fast and so fresh. It's such a fun spot with art everywhere and is right smack on Glendale in the midst of all the shops and eats in Atwater Village. It's family friendly but still a fun spot for casual drinks and catch ups. Mouth is watering writing this review
Hail Mary Pizza has a cozy neighborhood vibe to it. Inside, they have wooden booths and neon, colorful murals, and brick walls. There's always a good lively playlist. The giant chalkboard wall menu has innovative and amusingly named offerings. Pep Pep: The mozzarella covered slices have a super thin crust that becomes plump and doughy at the edges. Pep 1: The large pepperoni-shaped slices of Spanish chorizo slices are smoky with an interesting spice mix. Pep 2: The sliced jalapeño peppers are pickled. The honey and tomato sauce provide a sweet counterbalance to all the savory and spicy ingredients. I'm not typically a fan of pepperoni, but Hail Mary's take on pep is nice. Ordering: You order at the counter by the menu, and they'll bring the pizza to your table. Or they'll text you if you're taking it to go, which let's you really around the neighborhood while you wait.
